NY/HELP Mission trip begins

This morning, four volunteers left for Honduras for a 10-day mission trip.  The three pictured here all left from the Buffalo airport.  A fourth flew from Syracuse and will join them in Atlanta for the second leg of the journey.

This is the first trip since the abrupt loss of our in-country coordinator earlier this year, which halted the trip scheduled for February.  Then another scheduled for May did not materialize either. Therefore, at least part of this trip will involve some reorganizing.

This trip will be the first time to see how our new coordinator, Joel Rodriguez, who lives in the local area, is doing, and see if we can improve our communications system.
Expected projects will be seeing patients in the clinic and working with one or more of the schools.
Any news sent back during the trip will be posted on our here.
Thank you for your interest and support.
Paz y salud,
Ginger Comstock
